The
tour is unique and will be guided and designed by Sven.
Thanks to his experience and now how about the area it
is a pleasure for him to chow you the best of the area. Relish the chance to learn new skills and like to live life to the
fullest. You will lead your "own" team of
6 dogs. It makes necessary to require good
physical shape from the participants on this tour.
During the evening meal on the arrival day, Sven will have the first
briefing and let you now where the tour are going. He keep that open
because he will provide the very best dog sledding
experience, depending of the weather and snow condition. The nights
will be spent in a
tent and maybe some night in cabin.
Day
2: The day is spent provision of snowsuits, boots and other
equipment. Organizing the teams of huskies and learning the basics of
caring for your team and driving the sleds. ceck
of the equipment and the preparation of the tour. Checking that mushers are
matched with their teams of huskies.
Day
3 - 9:
The
tour go far off the beaten track using the freedom that sled dogs
give. The tour provide new and interesting mushing experiences.
It is good time for
ice-fishing. Some
great fishing can be done in the numerous lakes.
After
7 - 8 days dogsledding, a
shower is waiting for us at Sven’s lodge, and we end the
tour gathered to have a dinner in the warm atmosphere.
We have a cosy wood heated sauna and outdoor hot tub ready on
request for those temted! Maybe with northern lights above.
Day
10: The program end at breakfast.
It's worth consider whether to stay some extra days for interesting activities as
lodge guest
before
and/or after the tour.
